Preliminary Exercise

This is my preliminary video me and my group took part in. 

Overall I think it went well for our first time making a short clip. The things that I think went well were the continuity shots, it changes quite smoothly during the video. also the shot/reverse shot, as we had to keep swapping to each shoulder I think we got the camera back in the correct place again, so it didn't look like we actually moved the camera away. it was good also as we took a number of shots as back up in case anything went wrong, so if something did go wrong in one shot we had another to fall back on if we needed it.

One part I could of improved on in my video was including the match on action shot properly as it looks messy during the clip. In the clip of sky writing in her book, when I zoom into her hand it's at a different angle and doesn't look like a good match on action shot.
